Qualifying
Introduction
The boxing competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from July 26 to August 11, 2024. A total of 248 boxers will compete in 13 weight classes, with 120 men and 128 women.
Qualification Process
Boxers will qualify for the Olympics through a series of qualifying tournaments held between 2023 and 2024. These tournaments will include the World Boxing Championships, the Continental Boxing Championships, and the Olympic Boxing Qualifying Tournaments.
Timeline
The qualification process will begin with the World Boxing Championships in 2023. This tournament will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from May 1 to 14, 2023. The top eight boxers in each weight class will qualify for the Olympics.
