Prepare for an Epic Battle

The first trailer for Gladiator II has arrived, and it promises an epic battle that will leave you on the edge of your seat. The sequel to the 2000 historical epic Gladiator is set 15 years later and features a new cast, but it promises to deliver the same heart-pounding action and stunning visuals that made the original such a classic.

The trailer opens with a voiceover from Maximus's (Russell Crowe) son, Lucius (Spencer Treat Clark). Lucius is now a grown man and has followed in his father's footsteps, becoming a gladiator himself. He tells us that he has been training for this moment his entire life, and he is ready to avenge his father's death.

The trailer then cuts to a series of action-packed scenes that show Lucius fighting in the arena. He is a skilled warrior, but he is also haunted by his father's ghost. He sees Maximus in his dreams, urging him to fight for justice.
