Wi-Fi 6E Support for Apple Devices

Apple devices are now supporting Wi-Fi 6E, the latest wireless generation that operates on the 6 GHz band. This new technology offers faster speeds and more efficient connections due to its expanded bandwidth and reduced interference. Apple has announced that most of its current product lines, including iPhones, iPads, and Macs, are compatible with Wi-Fi 6E. However, some older Mac models do not support this feature.
Compatible Apple Devices
The following Apple devices support Wi-Fi 6E:
- iPhone 13 and later
- iPad Pro (5th generation and later)
- iPad Air (5th generation and later)
- iPad mini (6th generation and later)
- Mac Studio
- Mac Mini (M2 and later)
- iMac (24-inch and later)
- MacBook Air (M2 and later)
- MacBook Pro (14-inch and 16-inch, M2 and later)
Exceptions
The following Mac models do not support Wi-Fi 6E:
- Mac Mini Intel (2018)
- Mac Pro (2019)
